Sprayline

Community & Safety Guidelines

Effective 2026-08-23

Keep gym communities safe

Sprayline is for sharing climbing routes and sends with invited gym communities. Treat other members with respect. Do not harass, shame, threaten, stalk, impersonate, discriminate against, or deliberately endanger another person.

Protect personal information

Do not publish another person's private information or image without permission. Be especially careful with information about anyone under 18. Sprayline has no direct messaging; do not use route names, labels, images, or other content to work around that design or solicit private contact from minors.

Content that is not allowed

  • sexual or exploitative content, especially involving minors;
  • credible threats, encouragement of self-harm, or instructions intended to cause injury;
  • hateful content or targeted abuse;
  • illegal content, scams, malware, or deliberate access-control bypasses;
  • content that violates privacy, copyright, or other rights; or
  • misleading route information posted with the intent to create a physical hazard.

Online and climbing safety

Do not share contact details or arrange private meetings with people you do not trust. A person under 18 should involve a parent, guardian, coach, or another trusted adult when an online interaction causes concern. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Sprayline content is not a safety inspection. Follow gym rules and staff instructions, inspect holds and landing areas yourself, use suitable supervision and equipment, and do not attempt a route solely because it appears in the app.

Flag and respond

Use the flag control on a route to select Benchmark, Remove, or Other and optionally add context for the gym administrators. For concerns about a user or anything that cannot be expressed with a route flag, contact spraylinesupport.wwuos@simplelogin.com. Gym administrators can review flags, remove inappropriate routes, and manage members. Immediate danger should also be reported to gym staff or emergency services.

Enforcement

Depending on severity and context, action may include content removal, membership removal, feature restriction, account suspension, evidence preservation, or referral to relevant authorities. Repeated violations may lead to permanent loss of access.
